Vytrus starts the implementation of its Diversity Plan as part of its ESG program
In a significant step towards greater Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and diversity, Vytrus has launched its diversity plan through the Next Diversitat Program, supported by the European Union’s Next Generation funds. The company, known for its prominent role in the cosmetics industry, aims to go beyond its traditional business operations by actively engaging with and contributing to the community it coexists with.
Recently, Vytrus fulfilled one of its key social commitments by evolving its CSR and ESG (Environment, Social Responsibility, and Corporate Governance) project. This evolution is designed to prepare the company to face current and future challenges and respond to the growing demands of society. Thanks to the Next Diversitat and Empresa Program, in collaboration with the Catalan Association of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (PIMEC) and the Catalan Entities of Social Action (ECAS), Vytrus has established a Diversity Plan in partnership with the social entity Prohabitatge.
Prohabitatge, an organization committed to ensuring the right to housing and promoting residential inclusion, has become a strategic ally for Vytrus in its quest to actively contribute to social commitment for the health and well-being of people. This demonstrates how the company not only focuses on its role in the cosmetics industry but also embraces social commitment in the broader community.
The newly established Diversity Plan marks a crucial milestone in raising awareness and managing diversity within the Vytrus organization. This plan will not only guide the integration of new individuals into the team but also focus on inclusion and address the diverse needs of individuals, positioned as one of the fundamental pillars upon which the company bases its corporate social responsibility.
Last November, following the official signing of the Diversity Plan, Vytrus conducted comprehensive training for the entire team on diversity within the company. The session, led by Lluís Mas, Coordinator of the Transversal Projects Area of ProHabitatge, addressed fundamental aspects of a diversity project, how it is implemented, and its objectives. These include ensuring equal treatment and opportunities, integrating diversity management in a cross-cutting manner, promoting the inclusion of individuals belonging to vulnerable groups, and adapting internal and external communication from a perspective of respect and recognition of diversity. Additionally, the company’s Diversity Management Committee has been established, and a designated person has been appointed, with the voluntary participation of Vytrus’ human team.
With this ambitious Diversity Plan, Vytrus reaffirms its commitment not only to excellence in the cosmetics industry but also to building an inclusive and socially responsible company.
