Vytrus Biotech renews its partnership with Red Cross Terrassa until 2026
Vytrus Biotech has renewed its partnership with Red Cross in Terrassa for a further year, reaffirming its commitment to the local community as part of its Sustainability Strategy.
The renewal was recently formalised through the signing of a new addendum to the framework collaboration agreement that both organisations have maintained since 2022, signed by Anna Bertran Jufresa, Chair of Terrassa Red Cross Local Committee, and Òscar Expósito, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Vytrus Biotech.
This partnership dates back to 2022, when Vytrus and Terrassa Red Cross signed a framework agreement to jointly promote the organisation’s projects and programmes in the city, as well as Vytrus’s participation in activities through corporate volunteering and informative and educational talks. Under this agreement, between 2022 and 2025 the company linked its collaboration to the socio-educational centre at the INS Montperdut in Terrassa, where daily support was provided to young people aged 12 to 18 from an inclusive leisure perspective, whilst also ensuring a balanced diet at lunchtime and for afternoon snacks.
In 2026, the framework agreement remains in force and the partnership is now linked to the Trampolí project run by Red Cross Youth Terrassa, a socio-educational programme aimed at children and young people aged 6 to 16 in the city who are at risk of social exclusion. Through comprehensive educational support, the project aims to promote academic success, social inclusion and the wellbeing of children and young people in Terrassa, whilst also encouraging healthy habits and family involvement.
As part of its commitment, Vytrus will contribute financially to the project’s funding throughout 2026. Furthermore, this year the partnership takes on a new dimension: corporate volunteering. Since February, a team of four people from Vytrus has been actively involved in the academic support classes and helping to digitise the project’s library.
With this renewal, Vytrus Biotech reaffirms its commitment to the wellbeing and education of children and young people in Terrassa, strengthening a partnership with the Red Cross that has continued uninterrupted since 2022 and which continues to evolve in line with the needs of the local community.
