Vytrus Biotech has been granted a new patent in the United States to protect healing innovations from its portfolio of active ingredients developed through plant biotechnology.

Granted by the United States Patent Office (USPTO), the patent protects active ingredients with rejuvenating and healing activity on skin cells, and covers ingredients such as CLARIVINE™ and CENTELLA REVERSA™. These active ingredients stand out for their high content of plant peptides and natural exosomes, two key components in skin regeneration processes and highly valued in today’s dermo-cosmetic market.

The United States is positioned as the second most important market for Vytrus globally, with double-digit sales growth that strengthens the company’s presence in the country and boosts its internationalization strategy.

During the first quarter of 2025, Vytrus recorded a global sales growth of +76% compared to the same period in 2024. All the regions where the company operates experienced strong growth, with a notable sales increase of 27% year-over-year during the first quarter in the United States. This performance led Vytrus to reach €5.9 million in annual sales for the first time in its history.

Key drivers of this growth include products based on Exosomic Peptides technology, as well as the anti-aging, hair care, and brightening product lines, which showed particularly strong market performance.

In addition, Vytrus’ innovative solutions have been recognized internationally for their impact on the cosmetics sector. Ingredients such as CLARIVINE™ and CENTELLA REVERSA™ have recently been awarded this year in competitions such as in-cosmetics Global and the BSB Innovation Awards, consolidating Vytrus’ leadership in plant biotechnology applied to skin and hair care.
