Project Description

Did you know that our skin needs light to be healthy and produce vitamin D (the Sun Vitamin)?

Did you know that excessive indoor practices and the use of sunscreens could cause a vitamin D deficiency?

What if we helped the skin to optimize the vitamin D synthesis from Cosmetics?

NECTARIA LITHOPS

The Cell Nectar for a D-Skin

NECTARIA LITHOPS is an active ingredient that optimizes the production of vitamin D and provides a new concept: The D-Skin. To strengthen, revitalize, volumize, and glow the faded skin.

Skin care Sun care

Applications

  • Deep skin hydration and water retention: hydrating, densifying, and structuring formulations for dry / very dry skin and dermal filler applications.

  • Dewy skin: formulations for volume and luminosity.

  • Sun care: vitamin D enrichment, after-sun repairing formulations.

  • Microcirculation and oxygenation of the skin: night treatments to improve skin tone and texture, antioxidant, and well-aging formulations.

  • All kinds of cosmetic formulations: gels, creams, masks, serums, solid cosmetics, etc.

Mechanism of action

  • Strong spatial organization of cell membranes

  • Maximizing the use of light

  • Increasing hydration and water reserves in the deepest layers of the skin

  • Optimizing the vitamin D synthesis

CONCEPT: THE D-SKIN

The new concept of D-Skin begins with the mechanism of action of Nectaria Lithops: an active ingredient that optimizes the skin microenvironment, maximizing the use of light and improving the water level of the deepest layers of the skin, increasing skin dewiness and cheek’s volume, improving oxygenation, microcirculation, the tone, and the texture of the skin.

Thanks to the optimization of vitamin D levels, we achieve a D-Skin:

  • Dewy
  • Deeply hydrated
  • D-lighted
  • A D-Approach for Sun Care
  • Vitamin D enriched

Deeply hydrated and structured skin that shines from the inside out!

Lithops pseudotruncatella, a succulent plant native from the deserts of southern Africa, known as “Living Stones”, is specialized in managing water, space, and light to survive in very extreme conditions.

A very long-lived plant in the most extreme climate: it can live up to 95 years!

To maintain healthy cells and water levels during periods of extreme drought, this plant uses a secret weapon: the structuring of sugars. This structuring together with a peculiar metabolism allows Lithops to capture the light necessary for its photosynthesis without compromising its water balance.
